Professor Durodoye Appeals For Peace In Ifon-Osun, Erin-Osun & Ilobu

Raifu Oyewole Durodoye a professor of mathematics at Dallas College, Dallas, Texas, United States of America and illustrious son of Osogbo has appealed For Peace In Ifon-Osun, Erin-Osun & Ilobu. The Chieftain of All Progressive Congress, APC, expressed deep sympathy to residents of Ifon-Osun, Erin-Osun, and Ilobu communities over the recurring communal conflict in that part of Osun State.

The Professor acknowledged the distress and hardship caused by the unrest and called for an immediate end to hostilities.


In a heartfelt appeal, the Professor of Mathematics, consoled the affected people, expressing his concern for their well-being. He emphasized the devastating consequences of war and urged all parties involved to prioritize peace. “I am pleading with our people and all stakeholders to give peace a chance because the aftermath of war is always disastrous,” he stated.

Similarly, Prof Durodoye, encouraged steadfastness in prayer while calling for reconciliation. He urged the warring factions to embrace peaceful dialogue. He reassured people that Allah’s protection is always near, saying, “We must be cognizant that war is not bread and tea; it only brings suffering.”

The Professor further appealed to all well-meaning individuals in the state to spread this message of peace and encourage conflict resolution. It expressed optimism that calm would soon return through concerted efforts and divine intervention.
