IMMAMS AND ALFAS ORGANIZED AT AARE MUSULUMI'S HOUSE IN IBADAN DUE TO TIME CONSTRAINTS PRAY FOR ATIKU IN ABSTENTIAL

The ancient city of Ibadan agog yesterday as the Presidential Candidate of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar took his campaign to the State. Oyo state rally held at Mapo Hall, the rally was the last of the 6 States in the Western part of the country.

As a lineup programme of the Atiku/Okowa Campaign Team since the inception of the 2023 Presidential Campaign, the Presidential Candidate and his Vice usually meet with Stakeholders in each of the states including Muslim and Christain communities. 

In efforts to ensure a smooth PDP Presidential Campaign programme was not changed in Oyo state, and to prove that Ibadan is the headquarter of Yorubaland, Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta, Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola had mobilized league of Imma's and Alfa's across the Oyo State to meet with His Excellency Atiku Abubakar at Aare Musulumi”s house. 

Investigation revealed that before 10 am on Thursday, 19th January,2023. Imma's and Alfa's across the Oyo State were already on seats at Aare Musulumi”s house expecting Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his campaign team, but these people waited until they heard information that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was meeting another set of Religion leaders mobilized at Jogor Center in Ibadan.

The religious leaders at Aare Musulumi of Youbaland”s house felt disappointed . The imams and alfas left Aare Musulumi”s house to their various towns after prayer for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar . Governor Seyi Makinde and Nigeria in general. 

Every effort made by our crew to hear from Aare Dawud Akinola proved abortive but some Clergymen who spoke with our men expressed disappointment in the development.

Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, condemned Egbedun's conduct towards a respected royal figure, labeling it as inappropriate and uncultured. He remarked, "Our Association consists of well-cultured citizens of Nigeria, and we cannot allow one individual's actions to tarnish the image of our organization." The chairman concluded the press conference by announcing the suspension of Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun from the association, effective until the resolution of a petition filed with the Deputy Inspector General of Police Zone XXI by the concerned royal father.

Professor Durodoye Appeals For Peace In Ifon-Osun, Erin-Osun & Ilobu

Raifu Oyewole Durodoye a professor of mathematics at Dallas College, Dallas, Texas, United States of America and illustrious son of Osogbo has appealed For Peace In Ifon-Osun, Erin-Osun & Ilobu. The Chieftain of All Progressive Congress, APC, expressed deep sympathy to residents of Ifon-Osun, Erin-Osun, and Ilobu communities over the recurring communal conflict in that part of Osun State. The Professor acknowledged the distress and hardship caused by the unrest and called for an immediate end to hostilities.
