Farounbi Eulogies Erelu Funmi Ayoola for giving back to the society

A Non Governmental Organisation (NGO), Erelu Funmi Ayoola Foundation (EFAF) has put smiles on the faces of over 200 Old aged women in the ancient town of Ipetumodu in Ife North local government of Osun state.
The Foundation did that on Thursday 19th December, 2024 when it shared food items, clothing and cash to the aged selected from all the wards of the town.
Speaking shortly before the commencement of the distribution, the founder Erelu Funmi Ayoola Foundation, Erelu Funmilayo Ayoola the Erelu Oba of Ipetumodu said that, she was moved to reach out to the aged having realized that our old people needs care and deserves our attention.
Erelu Funmi Ayoola said that the gesture of sharing the items to the aged was the Foundation’s way of showing gratitude to God.
While highlighting the activities of EFAF, the founder said that the Foundation is solely focused on taking care of the aged, girl child, abandoned Babies, orphans, vulnerable Children and also widows.
“It is important to state that this Foundation is not here for eyeservice, but to fulfill a biblical injunction to render service to humanity as the will of God. ” (Ephesians 6:6-7)”, said Erelu Ayoola.
Speaking at the event, Dr Yemi Farounbi (Former Nigeria Ambassador to Philippine) eulogized Erelu Ayoola for giving back to the society, he then admonished everyone to imbibe the spirit of "giving" particularly to the needy.
The Founder then expressed her gratitude to all the organisations, partners, and individuals who assisted in one way or the other towards the realisation of the activity.
