Eniade welcomes Oke to APC

As the nation continues to grapple with various challenges, one important factor that cannot be overlooked is the need for effective leadership. 

In recent times, political defections have played a major role in shaping the political landscape of Nigeria. And the latest political movement is one that has caught the attention of many – Honourable Busayo Oluwole Oke's entrance into the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Hon. Oke, a federal lawmaker representing Obokun-Oriade federal constituency, has officially joined the APC, and this has been received with open arms by the party and its members. 

But perhaps, the warmest welcome came from a frontline philanthropist and the founder of Eniade foundation, Honourable Eniade Damilare Francis.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Eniade expressed his delight at Hon. Oke's decision to join the ruling party, describing it as a “good development for the Nation, State, and his Constituency." This move, according to Eniade, signifies the alignment of Obokun-Oriade with the national political landscape and opens new doors for the federal constituency to reclaim its position in federal decision-making.

Eniade is a philanthropist known for his numerous charitable works, especially in his federal constituency which comprise Ifelodun, Boripe and Odo-otin local governments. He is passionate about the development of his community and has continuously embarked on programmes aimed at improving the lives of the people.

With such a track record, it is no surprise that Eniade has welcomed Hon. Oke with open arms. He sees this move as a step in the right direction for the Obokun-Oriade federal constituency, and rightly so. "In today's political climate, being aligned with the ruling party brings numerous benefits," and Eniade stated.

Also in his statement, Eniade urged Nigerians from all walks of life, regardless of political affiliation, religion, or ethnicity, to support President Bola Tinubu. This is a call to unite and work together towards a better Nigeria. As Hon. Oke joins the APC, it is vital that Nigerians come together and support the ruling party's efforts in tackling the nation's challenges.

"As Nigerians, let us all unite and work towards a better tomorrow under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu and the APC. Together, we can achieve greatness."

Although, the entrance of Hon. Oke into the APC has been welcomed with open arms by Eniade Damilare Francis and many others in the party. With his vast experience and leadership qualities, Hon. Oke is a valuable addition to the APC and will undoubtedly contribute to the party's success in the coming years.
