ENIADE'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS: 2000 PEOPLE RECEIVE 20,000 NIARA CASH IN OKUKU

As the Chairman Eniade group of Companies, Honourable Eniade Damilare celebrated his birthday in his home town, Okuku on Friday 30th May, 2025. The foundation has empowered 2000 people with N20,000 at Okuku town hall, Okuku Osun state.

The initiative, part of the foundation’s efforts to provide relief to people, saw each beneficiary receiving cash to support their livelihoods and petty businesses.

Chairman of Eniade foundation, Eniade Damilare, said the empowerment is used to celebrate his birthday and also aligns with the foundation’s mandate of supporting the less privileged in the society.
“By empowering people, we are addressing the vulnerabilities they face and promoting their well-being. Our foundation is to build a philanthropic legacy so that history will be kind to us. Through this initiative, we demonstrate our commitment to caring for the most vulnerable,” he said.

Eniade said the selection process was rigorous and transparent, with a focus on identifying those most in need.

“The selection process for beneficiaries is transparent, we worked with leaders and some community members to identify people in need of support. Then, we conduct needs assessment to determine the support they require. Our criteria prioritises the most vulnerable, including disability, chronic illness, and dependent children,” he said.

The state Chairman of APC, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, commended the foundation’s efforts in enhancing the well-being of people.

“I am impressed by the Honourable Eniade Damilare commitment to supporting his people. His efforts is a testament to the power of compassion and kindness, may his generosity continue to inspire him to reach out to those in need, and may God continue to bless him,” he said.

A beneficiary, Mrs. Magret Oyedele, hailed the foundation.

“I am overwhelmed with joy and gratitude, this gift will support my family and little business I am doing. I pray God continues to bless the foundation and Honourable Eniade,” she said.

Present at the event are; the State Chairman of APC Sooko Tajudeen Lawal and members of his state Working Committee, Alhaji Shuaib Afolabi Oyedokun, Executive Director Nigeria Port Authority (NPA) Honourable Hon Holalekan Omo Odekilekun , Prince Adebayo Adeleke (Bank) Honourable Ibrahim Taofeek Kayode(ITK) and many others.

Professor Durodoye Appeals For Peace In Ifon-Osun, Erin-Osun & Ilobu

Raifu Oyewole Durodoye a professor of mathematics at Dallas College, Dallas, Texas, United States of America and illustrious son of Osogbo has appealed For Peace In Ifon-Osun, Erin-Osun & Ilobu. The Chieftain of All Progressive Congress, APC, expressed deep sympathy to residents of Ifon-Osun, Erin-Osun, and Ilobu communities over the recurring communal conflict in that part of Osun State.
