A legal dispute surrounding parcels of land at Oke-Arungbo, Awosuru Area, Osogbo, Osun state, has prompted a warning to prospective buyers to avoid transactions involving the property pending the resolution of ongoing court cases. In a public statement issued by Movement For Better Osun (MFBO), the group revealed that approximately 23.823 hectares of land are currently the subject of active litigation at the Osun State High Court. SUIT No: HOS/92/2021 The group alleged that despite the pending legal proceedings, certain individuals and entities have continued to market, transact, and encroach upon the land, in defiance of court injunctions. The group also stated that someone had already secured an injunction restraining the opposing party and its associates from dealing with or interfering with the land in any form.
